B1. Site Schedule

1. Basic Components List

This section provides in one place a list of components that must be bought, off-the-shelf, or created from scratch for use with this website. Hopefully, existing and open-source products can be used to reduce overall site costs:

2. Site Schedule Graphic

( 3-8-2012 ) Creation of this website will be costly and complicated. Twenty modules have been defined (lettered A to T in the graphic below). Each module represents an important aspect of the overall website. The three-month intervals are just guesses; each will be adjusted to fit reality. Module D is for THNC's use and is ongoing as long as website exists.

Creating modules allows THNC better project management control. Each unit of work (module) must be successfully completed before authorization is given to begin others. Several modules may be developed at once, possibly overlapping and at different stages of completion.

This approach allows THNC the option of awarding work to other design companies. If this is done, collaboration among awardees is paramount. Marcy Design is the primary contractor; all secondary design houses will be expected to coordinate their work with Marcy.

Columns in this graphic can be described as follows. Lower case letters in each column indicate completion priorities (order of module completion with "a" as highest priority).
