The general science of sociology is concerned with aspects of people living together in social groups.  That is the focus of this entry — straight science of sociology without interference from us or the home network industry. 

The section called Product Development Studies may be research about home networks — from the human perspective — and the affects being created by machines and the home network environment.  Here will be studies of relations between people, interactions with family and family’s needs, home security, intelligent computers, and how well people accept home networks as constructive and desirable tools for raising their quality of life. 

Hopefully, Sociology and Product Development Studies will study the same topics, produce two differing perspectives, and meaningful conclusions that will help both the people and the home networks.
