Application Contents

The information requested of you on the PRS Application forms the basis of your professional account with THNC. This screen shows all of the sections of a professional account and where information from the PRS Application is placed.

Clicking on “Login | Register” takes you to the THNC Accounts page;
Clicking on “Register” in the Professional Referral Listing Account box begins the registration process.


This is your account front door.

My Account

This section shows your Username and a security field for Password. To change your password, enter the new password in place of the existing one. Another field will appear, asking you to reenter the new password.

Professional Page

This section has places for your Logo and a Business Description.


  • Delete Image
  • Upload New Image with File Upload feature (entry field and Browse button)

Business Description

  • Source button — toggles between shows Page Source (HTML) and its appearance
  • Minimal Text Processing features (Bold, Italics, Underscore, lists with numbers, lists with bullets)
  • Data entry field with text slide (?)

Business Locations

Here, you can enter all of your business locations. You can enter one or hundreds of locations. This feature is great for helping members find your company all over this country. THNC volunteers to help you enter this information.
  • Address (Street, City, State, ZIP, Country)
  • Phone Number
  • Fax Number
  • Website
  • Email
  • Status (“Public” or “Hidden”)
  • (Specify “Primary” location by clicking on Star graphic)
  • View/Edit feature for corrections and to change the Status field

Business Information (PRS Application)

Each of the following sections displays part of your business information.

Basic Information

  • Professional Name (required – entry field)
  • Other Names (entry field)
  • Owners, Partners, etc. (required – entry field)
  • Federal ID Number (entry field)
  • State of Filing (pull-down field, two-letter codes)
  • State Identification Number (entry field)

Geographical Area of Service

  • List all of the business locations (required – entry field)
  • Describe your area of service (required – entry field)

References and Work History

  • Will you provide references if asked by prospective customers? (required – Yes/No)
  • How long have you been in this business? (required – entry field
  • How long have you been in related businesses? (required – entry field)
  • What other businesses have preceded this one? (required – entry field)

Home Network Specialties

  • List the types of services, industries served, and special skills of your company: (required – entry field)
  • Describe your best customer: (required – entry field)

Bonding and Other Guarantees

  • Are you required by state law to be bonded? (required – Yes/No)
  • Which kinds of bonding do you have? (entry field)
  • Do you have written guarantees? (required – Yes/No)
  • Do you have an established process for problem resolution? (required – Yes/No)
  • If needed, do you have provisions for third party arbitration? (required – Yes/No)
  • Are all provisions of company warranties and guarantees in print? (required – Yes/No)
  • Are warranty and guarantee descriptions part of documents that customers must approve by signing? (required – Yes/No)

Business Practices

  • Are your practices printed and available to potential customers? (required – Yes/No)
  • Do you have a Code of Ethics? (required – Yes/No)
  • Do you have customer relations standards? (required – Yes/No)
  • Do you use quality management? (required – Yes/No)
  • How else does your business protect the interests of your customers? (entry field)
  • Are all of your business practices available to customers? (required – Yes/No)

Job Completion and Followup

  • Do you have established practices for following-up after work completions? (required – Yes/No)

Brochures and Customer Documentation
