Industry Description

Wireless applications are very popular due to their versatility and ease of use.  Security and reliability are major considerations when considering wireless devices.  Wireless may be considered as backup for hardwired functions or vice-versa. Highly sensitive situations may require greater control that wireless permits.  Wireless sub-assemblies or apps may be available for inclusion in other products.

In the future, wireless protocols may evolve to include forms of security built-in to the wireless formats or multiple concurrent transmissions where information content and security are shared and decoding is required at the receiving device before use of the transmission can occur.  The goal is to make eaves-dropping on transmissions nearly impossible.
