The term “Residential Remodeler” refers to companies and individuals that specialize in work done to existing buildings.   Although creating additional rooms or wings to homes and multi-unit buildings will have almost all of the same requirements as completely new construction projects, the term “remodeler” implies alterations and renovation.  In the present and in the future, challenges for remodelers will be to extend the utility of functional homes by adding and installing new technology such as home networks.
