In the future, ways must be found to understand how well any home network is meeting demands placed on it.  Subjective tests may involve successfully providing services for the family and levels of satisfaction felt by the family.

An intelligent home network may have an awareness or understanding of its virtual system requirements and performance.  Some aspects of its performance will be dynamic by nature and will change as situations present themselves, such as experiences that require the system to draw upon past experience to know how to resolve new problems.

Then, what will come from the analysis?  Will additional training be given to the home network?  Will simpler tasks to assigned?  Perhaps the ultimate answer has to do with the family’s expectations for their network and what will they be asking it to do to help the family grow and become better in areas important to them.
